Is this a lesson day or a PD ski day?

This is a Buddy Free Ski day — there are no structured lessons. Participants ski and ride freely with a buddy or small group. Children aged 6–9 are paired with Snowhawks instructors who guide them on the mountain throughout the day.

What skill level does my child need?

All participants must be Novice level or above. Beginners cannot register. Your child must be comfortable on blue square (intermediate) terrain and able to ride a chairlift independently without assistance.

My child is coming without a friend — will they be okay?

Absolutely. Snowhawks will pair solo participants aged 10 and up with another registrant so everyone has a buddy to ski with. Nobody skis alone! In fact, this is one of our rules both for fun, and safety.

What is included in the $125 registration fee?

Your registration includes round-trip motor coach travel, a full-day lift pass, and a pizza lunch. Equipment and helmet rentals are available at an additional cost.
